Galliant Now - Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to join?

There is no cost to join!  Users have full access to their group at no charge.

How do you form groups?

We form chat groups based on your location, child’s diagnosis, and support needs.

What kinds of questions can I ask?

We encourage you to ask any and all questions that you have.  Parents share experiences with each other and also ask a wide variety of questions to the coordinating clinicians.  Parents really benefit from this approach as they seek answers to their questions. In addition, other parents have often experienced something similar or may have the same question.  If there is a question that we are unable to answer, we will be sure to direct you to someone who can.

What types of information will Galliant professionals provide?

Galliant Now professionals provide evidence-based answers to your many questions.  We do not have direct oversight of other users and do not endorse nor are responsible for any information or treatment recommendations they provide.  If other users provide inaccurate information, our professionals will work to address inaccuracies and include supporting research.

Do I need to provide identifying information about my child if I am not comfortable?

Users have the right to use de-identifying information including, but not limited to, using a pseudonym for their child, refusing to send pictures or other identifying information, etc.  All users recognize that any identifying information they send through the platform is done so at their own risk.

Will BCBA’s provide specific support for my child?

Galliant Now professionals are able to respond to generalized questions regarding your child and can provide information on resources, research, and support.  We provide evidence-based answers and additional references for your benefit.  Galliant Now is not intended to replace or serve in the place of individualized services.  With that, our professionals are unable to provide individualized treatment plans or therapeutic recommendations for treatment.  We ask that you seek out your coordinating BCBA or other healthcare professionals in charge of your child’s care for answers specific to your child.

Can I speak to a BCBA 1:1?
